Text Highlighting

Dear Experts....

When highlighting specific text to bold it, the whole
page boldens when "bold" button on the toolbar is pressed.

If the undo button is then pressed,only the highlighted
text remains bold.
The same thing happens with other formatting eg italics,
underlining etc.

How do I stop this happening?

Hi Chris

Usually caused by having the normal style set to 'automatically update' (MS
seemed to have managed to make this the default on one release.) See
