Text in a table row cut off at the bottom of the page

Hello, all;

I posted this in the Page Layout group as well. I'm not
sure exactly where this issue is best addressed.

I have a document which consists of rows of text organized
through tables. On the screen, it looks fine. When I
print it, on some pages, the bottom row of text is cut in
half vertically.

I have headers and footers in this document, and they are
printing normally. I have adjusted the margins to make
sure the footer top margin is not overlapping the text
bottom margin, so that is not the problem. I have not set
the row heights to any specific height. So those possible
causes have been eliminated.

Additionally, of I use Acrobat to convert the .doc to
a .pdf, the text cut-off at the bottom of the page is also
visible on the screen in the .pdf.

I am loathe to force a break in the middle of my row of
text, because as I edit this document, the breaks will
move. Maintenance will be a mess.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thank you!
Rhonda

G'day "Rhonda" <[email protected]>,

In these circumstances I happily print via pdf. It is annoying hey.
Sometimes there just don't seem to be a good reason. Sometimes you can
get some joy out of converting tables to text and back to tables
again.

I have addressed this sort of problem (if I remember
correctly) by inserting a blank row beneath the one that
is cutting off. I wouldn't go any smaller than about 4
pts or about .05" for the row height, or it becomes too
difficult to see the cursor. Format the blank row with no
border.
