text in a task bar

helpful. I assume you are talking about adding text in or around the
gantt chart task bars.

yes - thanks - that is the problem....
i dont use project often - just editing, and an associate
has problems with adding text. She claims that sometimes
she is able to and other times she cant...

Again, a little more information would be helpful. For example, are you
trying to add text in and around individual task gantt bars or are you
trying to add text in and around all task gantt bars? What do you mean
when you say that sometimes you are able to add the information and
sometimes your are not? Are you using Format/barstyles?
