Text in Cell space?

Good Day and thanks for looking at my problem. I have a
Excel workbook that I use for a schedule of clients and
times. When I try to type names in a cell instead of it
dropping to a second line to fill the space in the cell
it continues into the next cells area and I would like to
know if there is a way to stop it from extending and fill
the bottom of the cell?

There are a number of ways that you can handle text in excel.. The
simplest way to handle this is by formatting the cell you have. Click
format cell>on alignment tab>click wrap text. When I have a big
paragraph in a spreadsheet, I usually highlight a paragraph sized
rectangle and check wrap text and merge cells.
