Text in placeholders won't always Save

This issue is getting on my nerves.
When I have a document with placeholders, fill them in, then hit Save...not
all the placeholders are saving. Some will, but other will revert back to the
default text in the brackets.

For example:
I'm doing an assignment for a computer class and I have to edit a cover page
that has five placeholders. I fill in all five. When I hit save, three
placeholders save, but the other two revert back to [Type name here] and
[Type company name here]. I can't complete these assignments properly until I
can get this figured out, and the instructor is of no help (it's an online
class and she wont email me back).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Using Word 2007? If so, click the Office Button/Word Options/Trust Center,
click the Trust Center Settings button and then on the Privacy Options tab
deselect "Remove personal information from file properties on save."

Could you tell me if you are using a template you downloaded from Office
Online? If so, there are some available that have this option inadvertently
selected and if you could tell us which one you used I can make sure the
information has been passed along. Thanks!!
