I issued a calendar request to someone running on Exchange (if that
matters...). I'm running OutlookXP and I don't know which version of
Outlook he is running.
The invitee responded 'TENTATIVE' to my request and entered text in the
response describing why he may not be able to make the meeting.
By chance I happened to look at a copy of the response while it was still on
my POP server. (I use ePrompter - a free, lightweight program that monitors
POP servers and lets you read message contents without downloading them off
the server.) When I viewed the message with ePrompter I could see the text
the invitee had entered when he replied to my message. When the message was
actually downloaded into Outlook it came in as a Calendar item and
documented he had replied TENTATIVE, however I could not see at all the text
he had entered.
The text MUST be in the message because I could see it after it was on my
POP server when I used ePrompter. Why can't I see it when I open the
message/calendar item in Outlook? I'm VERY confident ePrompter did not
alter the message in any way.
Thanks.
