I'm using PowerPoint 2007. I often hide items on the slide so that they do
not show in the grayscale handouts.
Now, in 2007, text in shapes (not to be confused with a shape and a separate
text box) can not be hidden. I have tried all the grayscale options for the
shape and for the text. No joy. The shape hides, but the text doesn't.
I hate the idea of cludging, by placing separate text boxes over shapes,
then grouping them.
Has anyone found another work around?
