text in word field is bold and I don't want it bold

I've set up a mailmerge using the Wizard and when the data merges the merged text is bold. My data source is not in bold, and the main document is not in bold. The only way I can get around it is to edit the individual letters, which is very time consuming with a large mailing. Has anyone else had this problem, if so, how did you correct it?

Managed to fix it - seems there was some glitch with the paragraph style - although it was not a bold style. I changed the style and then it worked.
