Hello,
This problem is quite annoying and if anyone could help I
would greatly appreciate it. There are 2 forms that I
have. What happens is on Form 1 the user selects a
specific name and cetain checkbox options.
Then user must then click a button to go to Form 2. The
first form remains open. In Form 2 the same name that was
selected in Form 1 is displayed in a text box that is
locked from the user, so that he/she can't accidentaly
change the name.
At this point I would like to have the user add additional
information to this name by clicking on certain
checkboxes. So the user click on the Create New Record
button, which clears out all previous information but
leaves the name in the text box.
So the user then enters the info. saves and exits.
However, when I was looking in the Table for that form,
the previously selected name appears in the information.
That name overwrites existing ones.
So if I had John, Mark, Mike, and my last entry was Tom,
and I entered Tom in twice, then the table would show:
John, Mark, Tom, Tom.
If someone could please help me out I would greatly
appreciate it. If you want to e-mail me and get a more
comprehensible explanation, please do so.
Thank you,
