Text inside of shape issue

Hi All,

I have a process flow doc that was in pdf format. I used some
software to convert it into a CAD format, then into a visio file.
Everything looks great, except the text inside all of the process flow
shapes is individual text boxes for each letter. So if I wanted to
edit the text, I would have to do it letter by letter. Is there a way
to combine all the individual text boxes into one text box?

Thanks.

I suppose it could be possible to write an addon or macro to do this, however, it would
not be a simple task.
How many shapes are there containing text?

Hi Paul,

There are easily 60 or 70 shapes.

Hi Paul,

There are easily 60 or 70 shapes.

So that's maybe a couple of hours work to delete the old text and re-enter it as a
continuous string.
Any attempt to write some VBA to do it automatically would take far longer than that and
be far more error prone.
