Text Is Mistakenly Put Into Images

I just build my first web site with Publisher and one problem completely
baffles me. Of the 6 html pages, the browser user can select text on
only 3 of them. On the pages where you can't select, Publisher, for some
unknown reason, has coded them in images rather than text. If you do try
to select text on these pages, you just get a circle with a line through
it. In addition, the font on these 3 pages is erroneously boldened.

I see nothing different on those pages when I'm in Publisher. Can
someone help? This particularly is a problem for me because some of my
users will be visually impaired - and screen readers see nothing. :-(

Thanks a lot.

Sounds like you have some overlapping text/image boxes. Run the Design
Checker to ID the offending boxes.

There are things you can do in print documents that you can't do in web
documents, and when Publisher converts the documents to html, if there is no
way to reproduce the print document technique in html, it converts it to an
image. For example if you use a non-web friendly font, try wrapping text
around an image, use master pages, or in some cases overlap some design
elements, you can end up with images. Look for these things and run the
Design Checker under tools to see if it spots anything else. If you don't
spot the problem, post the URL and we'll try to help.
