text not appearing on page

I can't get any text to appear on the body of the page! I can rename the
tabs etc but when I type on the page nothing happens - I'm obviously missing
something really simple here but very frustrating!! Help appreciated...

You file might be read only. Does the title bar of the OneNote window say
Read Only?
