Hi,
I am using Visio 2003. I want to be able to put a text along the edge of a
3D shape rather that he body/main area. Appreciate the help?

Thanks...

Look on the Standard toolbar for the Text tool. It is a button with an 'A'
on it. Next to that button is a dropdown arrow. Click it and select the
Text Block tool. With this tool you can reposition the location of the text
associated with each shape.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the info. I am trying to put a text around edge of a 3D circular
object. Is there a way so the text can take shape of a half circle to rap
around the edge?

Regards....

Sorry, all Visio text must fit into a basic rectangle. You can change the
angle of the text but not the orientation of individual characters.
