Text Outside of Textbox

I have added a textbox to an InfoPath form. When I attempt to type
text into the textbox the first 6 characters do not appear within the
textbox. Only after typing more than 6 charaters does text start to
appear. It is as though the width of the field differs from the width
of the textbox. I would expect the data entry to be left justified
with the textbox, however, it is not in my case. I am not sure how to
fix this. Any thoughts? I am using Infopath 2003 SP1.

Best,

Greg,
Is this a text-justification issue?

I don't believe so. When I type in my name (Roland) into a text box.
All I see is the right half of the "d" character. The first 5.5
characters of my name are not visible and are to the left of the
textbox border. The textbox is visibly wide enough to accomodate my
full name, with the current font. I have experience with textboxes in
other development applications.

Thanks,
Roland

To make sure the textbox is being sized correctly, double click it and
go into properties, go to size, and make sure height is auto and width
is set to 100 -PERCENT- (%). This will guarantee that the textbox is
not going out of range. If this doesn't work, you should just make a
new form, because obviously something messed up majorly with this one.

Cheers,
Matt

Thanks MatsonPP,

Your suggestions on formatting were informative. Unfortunately, they
were not the solution. I am going to try your second suggestion and
recreate the document.

Best,
Roland
