Text Overlapping Part of Grouped Objects

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I'm running into something that's confusing the heck outa me. I just tried to do something I've done hundreds of times now, grouping an image with a caption, so I can move them together. This last time, however, when I right-click, then select Group>Group, text below the group then moves up so that it overlaps the caption portion of the group (which is positioned below the image).

I've tried this several times now on this particular image and caption, with the same results after restarting and so on. But when I look at the properties of the image object and the caption, I don't see anything that would appear to cause this.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Set your Wrapping correctly. When you Group objects, by necessity, they all
become "Floating" objects.

Set your Text Wrapping to place the text where you want it (e.g. "Top and
Bottom").

Cheers

Thanks, John. When I double-clicked the group -- the image and caption -- and set the layout to square and other, the text moved back out of the way.
