Text Overlays on a picture not seen by all people opening the word

Word 2002 - one person created a flyier im MS Word, has a picture, then put
several lines on Text overlayed onto the picture, saved it to the Network.

But differnet people open up that file, some on Windows XP, some on Windows
2000. some of them see what the author saw, and some are missing seeing the
last sentence of Text that is over the picture.

there are some HARD RETURNS, Paragraph markers between each sentence. We
deleted a few out and that fixed the problem of now seeing the missing
sentence. But then the document is not as long as the original person saw it
as.

So my question is, why do some people see it the way it was designed, but
others see it a different way ? and the OS that they are on, doesn't seem
to play a role in this, nor the exact version of MS Word 2002

Usually this is attributed to using different printer drivers. Word uses
information from the printer driver to display a document so it will appear
the same as it will look when printed. If you're seeing a lot of differences
then this is the first thing to check.
