Text scrolls over fixed image in IE7 & Firefox

I've used FP2003 for years with no problem. Now that I'm updating our site,
I'm having problems. The site appears fine in IE6, but it IE7 & Firefox my
text scrolls vertically over my background image. All my information is in
a table with a fixed background image, and my text is in cells. So it
shouldn't be moving at all. Can someone please help?

You'll never line up with bg images like you're trying to do.

Can you explain then why there isn't the problem with IE6 only IE7? It's a
fixed background image in a table.

Or what are your suggestions?

Did you change anything? It all scrolls together here, using either FF3 or IE7.

Yes, I did. Actually, a college student familiar with the problems in IE7
found the fix for me. According to him, there's a tag that wasn't being
recognized in IE6, that is recognized in IE7. I just deleted the tag for the
background attachement to be "fixed" and it works like a charm.

I find it interesting that a MS MVP suggested it wouldn't line up because of
my graphic size, but a computer geek college student told me how to fix it in
less than 10 minutes! :)

The MVP award is given for one's willingness to help others, despite the desire of
some to imply that it also conveys an expert knowledge. (It does no such thing!)
Often, but not always, those most willing to help are also extremely knowledgable.
Heh, and many (if not most) MVPs were at one time, if not still, college geeks.
Your friend may go places! :)
