text shadow

In Word 04 I'm trying to put some shadows behind graphics. On most it
works, but on one picture I click, and in the formatting palette
there's no shadow option. Why is the shadow option on all but that
one? Tnx.

Is the picture In Line? If so you can't apply a shadow. Otherwise, what type
of graphic file is it? What other details can you provide?
