Text sizing issues between Outlook 2003 and IE6

Our office just recently upgraded (and I'll use that term loosely) to Office
2003 (SP2) and now I'm having a problem between Outlook 2003 and IE6 with
text sizing and fonts. We use XP Pro.

I have my signature set up in Outlook using 10 pt Comic sans MS for the
contact info and 8 pt for a disclaimer message. I'm set up using HTML as my
message format. Ever since the upgrade, my IE6 keeps resetting the text size
to Medium rather than where I had it before (Smallest). If I go into the
Internet Options -> Accessibility and tell it to ignore the color, font and
sizing, my Outlook signature suddenly changes to Arial 12pt. I've tried
going back in and editing my signature (both in the signature pane and in
Word) and it won't change the font regardless of what I do. I've even
created new signatures and still it defaults to Arial 12 pt. I've also tried
changing the text size when I open a html email and it changes how it looks
but it doesn't effect when I hit reply. If I go to Rich Text or plain, no
problem. I go back and unclick the ignore choices in Internet Options and
low and behold the signature reverts to what it should be, but the text size
keeps changing in IE6 and constantly having to reset it is becoming very,
very annoying. I didn't have this problem with Office 2000 (except sometimes
when the IT dept. installed some fixes overnight) and then it was easy to fix
using Word.

Any ideas?.
