Text spills to right cell in printouts

Everything looks great in print preview, but when I print
to ANY printer or even PDF, text in some cells overlaps
into the adjascent cell on the right. I also lose a bit
of the first letter of the left section of the header.
What is causing this?

have you tried using the specific printer driver for your printer?

It seems I have the exact same problem (screenshot of a PDF I produced can
be found here: http://www.alexemde.de/downloads/excelprint.pdf)

I am working on a large worksheet that I have been using and updating since
Excel 2001 for Mac and after upgrading to Excel 2004 I have this problem. I
checked the printer driver - but it doesn't make any difference which
printer I use.

If I open the same worksheet in Excel 2001 that is still installed on my
Powerbook everything prints fine again. What's more: The first two sheets in
my large document have a similar layout but don't show the problem.

Any ideas?
