Text split around a circular image so it's all *upright*?

I have a round image, and I'd like to create two half-circles of text around
it - one above and one below - with the text in both facing *right-side up*.

I've used the proper WordArt curve for the top, but the WordArt curve for
the bottom arc handles the font differently, and I can't get a match. I gave
up on that and moved on to simply trying to rotate / flip the good-looking
top arc, but the text seems to stay upside down / backwards no matter what I
try.

There's got to be a way. What am I missing here?

Thanking you in advance for your advice...

What version Office?

If you are using 2000 and below, Open the WordArt dialog, hit the space bar once or
twice.. input the text, space once or twice, enter, enter, space once or twice, input
your second row of text, space once or twice.
Select "Button [Curve]" or "Button [Pour].

It works the same in Office 2002-2003

I get the circle of text (which is great, as I can resize/shape it all
together), but the words in the bottom half of the circle are a) all squashed
together, and b) *still upside down*.

Help?

Should I just use two WordArt images, one with the curve going one way, and
the other with the curve going the other? I tried that before, but because
they're different fonts/layouts to begin with, I couldn't get them to match
up. Any suggestions there?

I reckon it is because you have more words on the bottom or top. I don't get the
upside down text when I do this.
There is a character spacing selection within the WordArt menu.
Ideally if you had a draw program...
What Office version do you have?
There is a free download for Expressions, it has wonderful drawing tools and a large
learning curve, but it does text to curve like a dream. A large download, well worth
it...
