Text Stretching with a text box.

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: intel

when i create a text box, in word 2004, i want to quickly resize the text by grabbing the handle on the lower right of the box then size it accordingly......i have tried many key combinations while dragging but can't make it work.....any suggestions.....

Sorry - That's not an option in *any* version of Word. You can change the
font size by selecting the text as with any other text or by selecting just
the object, but the size of the text & the size of the object it is attached
to are independent settings.

OTOH, you can use WordArt in order to have "stretchable" text as well as
other options that can't be applied to regular text, such as Rotation.
