Text to audio

Can anybody suggest how I have text block, that appears on screen during a
presentation, be read out - not by the presenter. I am thinking of
something along the lines of the text to audio facility that is avaialable
for the partially-sighted. - my audience is not partially sighted I just
want to use this as a means of emphasis.

PPT2007 under Windows XP.

Do you specifically want a computer-reading-text type of sound or just
another really-a-human voice?

If the former, Sandy's nailed it.

If the latter, have somebody record the text, save it as a wav file.
Then give the text box an entrance animation and assign it the sound file
as
the sound effect.

Thanks Steve and Sandy.
Either would do. I was initially thinking in terms of computer-reading
since it seems, on first thought, quicker to do, more flexible and easier to
get a better synch.
I have only read Sandy's reference quickly but it rather looked as if that
was for whole presentations and not the occasional one-off text box.
Certainly your suggestion, Steve, is probably simpler to do.
