I've seen several questions regarding this topic, but have not seen a
solution. So I'm hoping this will be the lucky one.
While composing an email in Outlook 2007 (with sp1 loaded), the email view
will return to the top of the email. The cursor remains in the correct
position, so you can continue to type, but unless you scroll the screen down,
you cannot see what you are typing. As in the previous submissions, it seems
to occur with larger emails (just to try something, I did turn off the
autosave feature on one computer, but it did not correct the problem). The
issue occurs frequently, but the timing varies.
I have several users that are experiencing this issue. The computers in use
are 2 different styles of laptops--both HPs--approximately 3 months old.
Outlook 2007 was a fresh install on the computers--not upgraded from a
previous version. The laptops are running XP Pro with sp3 loaded. A
question in one of the previous submissions was whether a USB mouse is in
use, and that is true.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
