text wrapping around a picture

I'm using Word 2007. I am bringing figures in to my Word document from a
power point file by copying and pasting the objects into Word as a picture
(either enhanced meta or jpeg). I want to wrap text around them and keep the
picture locked in place. Neither the in-line or floating options keep the
picture locked; it keeps moving down the page with text. In the older word
versions I would put a frame around it and lock it down. I tried lock anchor
in Word 2007 but it doesn't work. What do you suggest?

Select the picture. On the Picture Tools > Format tab, click the Position button
and choose More Layout Options. Change the vertical position setting from
"Paragraph" to either "Page" or "Top Margin".

Even with this setting, if the paragraph containing the picture's anchor moves
to a different page, the picture will also go to that page -- the anchor and the
picture must always stay on the same page.

The Lock Anchor setting only controls whether you can drag the anchor from one
paragraph to another; it does not lock the anchor with respect to the page.
