Text wrapping in a Text Box

Ver 2002. I am layering textboxes to create some professional looking
newsletters.

Bottom Layer, I insert a picture into the textbox
Next layer is a transparent layer with text - same size as picture.
Next layer is a smaller text box used for "pull quotes." It is placed in the
bottom right corner of larger layers.

On layer 2, the main text, I want to have the area covered by layer three
automatically detected so that the text wraps. I have tried grouping the
boxes hoping the text would wrap, it doesn't

The text box usage scenario is only intended for the feature article. The
rest of the text on the regular writing surface wraps around the feature
article just fine. However, I am having to put hard CRLF @ the end of each
line to get the effect of wrapping in the textbox.

Can wrapping be used as I am attempting to do it?

Hi =?Utf-8?B?QkpXcml0ZXI=?=,

No, Word doesn't support text wrapping within Drawing objects.

Something you can TRY (but no guarantees) would be to use a TABLE CELL for
layer 2. Make sure the textbox for Layer 3 is anchored IN that table cell. In
this case, the text in the table cell should flow around the text box (assuming
it's set to "Square" formatting).

Remember: you can "float" a table on the page, like a graphic, in Word 2002
(something that wasn't possible in earlier versions).

thank you, Cindy. You essentially confirmed my suspicions. I don't blame
Microsoft for not having this feature. Who knew there would be people like me
attempting the ridiculous. :)
