Text wrapping in Pred / Succ column

You know the way text in the Name field wraps to the second line? Well, what
does it take to have the prec / succ do the same thing in a column on a
table? It looks to me that it doesn't wrap to the next line because there's
no space, just a comma, separating the values. The column has to be too wide
to accomodate several pred/succ.

Neill,
There is a way to get the Predecessor and Successor fields to text wrap.
That is to change the default system delimiter from a comma to a space.
Note that this may cause some confusion in other areas since all commas
will then be spaces.

If you have a very large number of Predecessors or Successors there is
another method. Break the task into two or more separate tasks with an
"SS" relationship and distribute the other Predecessors among the
individual tasks.

Hope this helps.

Thanks John, I had already looked at some of the old posts/replies using
'wrap text' as search and made the changes that were suggested, which are the
same as yours. Changing the delimiter to a space does the trick. Finding the
place where the delimiter can be changed in WinXP was somewhat of a
challenge, but finally found it in Regional and Language...,Regional Options
tab and then click the Customize... button. Then the delimiter ',' needs to
be changed to a space. Then back out using the 'Apply' button. Maybe this
needs to be added to the directions on the MVP site given in the posts about
changing the delimiter. All the Operating systems but WinXP was given I think.

Thanks again for your help,

Neill

Neill,
Glad you found the elusive setting - sometimes I have trouble finding
those things myself.
