text wrapping issue

I'm having an issue with text wrapping in Word 2010. I'm trying t
format an image as in-line with text, because I want to add a caption t
the image and I don't want the caption to be a text box that float
around

When I try format the image as in-line, it cuts off the image and allow
me to write text on top of the image. Screenshot attached, only th
bottom of the image is being shown (grey bar.) I added the red box i
paint to highlight the issue

Does anyone know how to fix this

A picture positioned "In line with text" behaves as a (large) text
character, so you need to look at the line spacing of text. Make sure it is
set to "Single."

Set it to Square, then create a text box with the caption, place the caption
where you want, then group it with the picture. They will move as one.
