Text1 field from Gnatt Chart not in Resource Usage

I added a "Text1" field in the gnat chart view. I then
wanted to see this data in my Resource Usage view. But
when I inserted the same text1 filed, it was all blank.
How can I get the corresponding data from the Gnatt Chart
into the Resource Usage View?
