I am an instructor for a new college course entitled Excel Data Reporting and I'm wondering if anyone has come across a good book for teaching Excel 2008 MAC?

There are numerous resource for WIN versions, and even for 2004 but I'm having difficulty with Excel 2008.

I was hoping to find a resource that would not only teach key strokes and mouse clicks, but that would also provide context setting.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know, there are no texts specific to the Mac. The win versions
are at least "95%" compatible. You can use these and substitute the Mac key
strokes.

Bob, Thanks! Do you have a favorite? I'm starting to focus on Excel Data Analysis (Wiley Publishing).

jreneski -

If you're referring to Excel Data Analysis by Jinjer Simon, note that Mac
Excel 2008 lacks PivotCharts, VBA, VBA dialog boxes, and the Analysis
ToolPak wizards, so four of the book's eleven chapters are not appropriate:
8. CREATING PIVOTCHARTS.
9. AUTOMATING ACTIONS WITH MACROS.
10. USING FORMS AND DIALOG BOXES.
11. USING THE ANALYSIS TOOLPACK ADD-INS.
I looked at the book's table of contents online, and I have not looked at
the book itself.
