textbox running sum calculation fail

Dear friends,
I have a table with fields A,B.
in report design I have TextBox for fields A & B. good, works well
Now I want a column with running sum of fields [A]+. so i dropped
a textbox and set RUNNING SUM=Over All and set
CONTROL SOURCE= [A]+ but it dosn't work!!!
if i change controlSourec=[A] works well but I want above calculation
what should I do?
