Texture

Hello,

I have several text boxes shaded in maize throughout my brochure. At some
point, I tried a linen texture, but decided I didn't like it in my piece.
Now, I can't get rid of the texture unless I say "no fill." However, I do
want color fill and when I select it the texture is there. There is no
option for "no texture" in fill options. Any advice?

Are the text boxes grouped? Are you using a template?
If the text boxes are grouped, ungroup them, see if that makes a difference in
the way the boxes are filled.

There is no 'No Texture' option, you just select a solid colour from the
palette.

Hi Ed,

I've done just that - selected a solid color, but the texture is still
showing up! I've even deleted the text boxes and created new ones with a
maize color, but the linen texture is still there. Any other ideas?

Hi Mary,

Yes, at some point I did try the texture to see how it looks. But, I can't
remove it. I have selected "no fill" to try and clear the box and re-saved
it without a fill before adding color again. Unfortunately, it won't accept
just the color and remove the texture.
