Thanks to all who tried to help me with my problem getting a contact
name from a subform onto my invoice for my writer’s database. I never
could get it working, so I linked the table with the contacts into the
query and did it that way.
Now I have a different problem. My pop-up form (InvContSelForm)
correctly displays the contacts at a particular magazine, and when I
click on one, it puts the name on my invoice as desired. But not all
magazines (especially the ones I haven’t sold to yet) have anything in
the Contact Name field in the Contacts table, and when that’s the case,
the popup form opens with no data. It’s completely blank.
Is there a way to automatically have a blank record appear when the
preceding happens? Any ideas would be appreciated.
