Glad you got a good result from the NGs. If you have trickier problems in
the future, you will get even better results if you don't change the subject
line every time you post something, and other people will be able to benefit
from what works for you. No one reading this, or the note about "it's Word
97" have much idea what you are talking about, unless they went to the
trouble of searching for messages from you, which is unlikely. But if all
related messages have the same subject line, people can view the entire
thread at once very easily, both now and in the archives. Bert probably
remembers that he replied to a particular subject line, and will read that
thread to see if his suggestion worked, but he may not remember the name of
the person he replied to.
