Subject: Published Project locked in MS Project 2003 - How to unlock it.
Date: Monday, July 11, 2005 10:03 AM

I had created a project in MS Project 2003 and published it to Project
Server 2003. After that, I was making some changes in the project at MS
Project, but during modification of the project content, my MS Project hung
and terminated abnormally. After that, when I tried to open the published
project in MS Project, it is not allowing me to open, instead it says it has
already been checked-out by user 'TEST' and it pretends to open in Read-only
mode.

I would appreciate, if some body could help me to resolve this problem at
the earliest.

Thanks in Advance.

Hello Test,
Check In your project. There are 2 ways for that :

The Project Manager in PWA :
Go to Project Center page
At the bottom of the Actions pane (keft hand) : Check in my Project

or:
1. Login as Administrator on PWA
2. goto "Manage enterprise features"
3. Select "check in enterprise projects"
4. Select your project and click "check-in"
