Thanks for being so prompt and clearing my questions up. Is project server
2007 default instant sitting on a full blown sharepoint website? Because it
sounds like i can use Project server for creating sharepoint sites etc as
well.

I just realized I posted this as a new thread, this was actually a reply to
"PWA Question" and meant for Andrew Lavinsky. Not sure how to move or delete
this.

I am not sure I follow entirely. PWA is a site collection with a single
site in it. Optionally, some people create their project workspaces under
PWA, or under a separate site collection.

You can create sites within PWA if I follow, but that may cause issues with
disaster recovery plans or potential upgrades. It's quite common to just
blow PWA away, keep the databases, and then provision a new site with the
same databases.

That process is facilitated by keeping production data out of PWA as much
as possible.
