The 60 day trial won't work. Why?

I installed Microsoft Office Home and Student trial (60 days). I configured
it 3 different times. It comes up on the excel and word, but I am allowed to
do no keying, deleting or anything. Why doesn't Microsoft Office Home and
Student 60 day trial period work on my computer when it said it would?

Maybe I meant reconfigured it. Keyed in the 25 digits required and hit
continue. It continued and said it was done correctly. I'd hit close
expecting everything to work. But as I wrote earlier, the Home and Student is
there but I can do no keying or deleting to it.

What OS are you running? Do you have a restore point dated before your
install of Office Home and Student 2007?

If you have a restore point dated before your installation of Office Home
and Student 2007, I would uninstall the product via the Control Panel, then
remove all folders created by Office Home and Student 2007 that you can
find. After that I would restore the computer to a date before your
installation of Office Home and Student. Then try a re-install with as
little running on your computer as is possible including anti-virus,
anti-malware and the like.

Go through the activation process then the first time that you run each
installed element in Office there will be a short configuration and then you
should be up and running.

How old is this downloaded Trial version. Has it been installed before you procured it by somebody else?
