The Active Directory group failed to synchronize with the Enterpri

i have installed a brand new copy of ps 2003 on a newly configured windows
server 2003 box. i cannot get the Active Directory group to sync for the
life of me. here are the error messages i am getting.


#1 on the admin web page for configuration
The Active Directory group failed to synchronize with the Enterprise
Resource Pool"

#2 event viewer application error:

i looked at this page and wasn't able to use anything that fixed my issue:

i'm out of clues at this point and would love to have someone help me. any
help or guidance would be appreciated!!!

Are you entering the group name without prefixing it with the domain name? I
don't see in the article that they suggest this but I have had a lot more
success when I only enter the AD group name and don't prefix it with the
domain.

i have entered it every way possible without any luck. there seems to be a
connector issue based on the logs and other research. one of our sys admins
even logged in with super domain admin rights and set the services to use
that same login in case there was a permissions issue and that didn't work
either. i have a case in with microsoft to help us figure out or fix this
issue.

I hope MS sorts it out for you. My next line of investigation would have
been to look at the naming for your AD groups. I would create a test group
with a simple name. Good luck, let us know how you get on.

The error seems to indicate this is the issue, and it is set to Manual
after installation.
Let me know if this fixes your problems
