THE address Book

I want to print labels from inside Word. BUT it seems to
me that I have to create the list inside of another
program. I don't use OUTLOOK...Help! i am so frustrated
that a program like Microsoft Office doesn't allow you to
put the information in the address book while inside the
Word program then pick which one you want to print on a
label. Help please. It seems like i am missing something
here.....E-mail response to me. I would appreciate the
information more than you know.

Thanks,
Terry

You need to set up a data source for the label information
to come from. There are two parts to a mail merge (which I
assume you're using)...the Main Document (i.e. the labels)
and the Data Source (i.e. the name/address info). A data
source can be in a Word table, an Excel spreadsheet, etc.
You do not have to use outlook at all.

Where is all your data now? Do you know how to properly
set up a mail merge?

By the way, I will not email you a response...the purpose
of a newsgroup is for everyone to benefit from questions
and answers.

Good luck.
