The Amazing Disappearing Margins

When printing Publisher documents using an HP LaserJet 4250, the margins are
much too large. The same document will have all borders etc. showing when
using any other printer. This would be a printer problem if it weren't for
the fact that other programs don't have any problem printing normal margins
on the HP LaserJet 4250. This margin problem only occurs when using Microsoft
Publisher. In fact, the margins are already gone when I go into the Print
Preview. It seems apparent that the problem is some sort of setting within
Publisher itself. I have tried changing the margins under [Arrange]->[Layout
Guides]->[Margin Guides]. The content still disappears beyond a certain
point. Does anybody know how I could coax Publisher into letting me print
into these margins?

It looks like your printer driver is misreporting its printable area.
Publisher assigns a great deal of respect to the information supplied by
your printer driver, including whether it's a colour or black-and-white
printer, and what the printable area is. In order to try and give you an
accurate view of the printed publication, it hides all content that
the printer claims is unprintable. Get a printer driver that reports the
correct margins, and Publisher should print as far as the printer will
allow.
I have tried changing the margins under [Arrange]->[Layout
Guides]->[Margin Guides].

Those aren't the margins, those are margin guides. Hence the "guides" in
the command name.

I thought I had the most recent driver, but I'll look again. Thanks for the
help.
