the cell formatting table is too small

Hi Folks,

I am using Fp2003 and I am trying out Layout Tables for the first time. I
have made a Layout table and now I put cells into it. For some of these cells
I want to apply borders. However, when I do that, I get the message "can't
apply borders. The cell formatting table is too small". I do not understand
this message: is it some internal parameter that is too small or...? I did
not find any info on the Microsoft website or in the help function. What am I
doing wrong and how do I solve this?
