The Created column in Project Center

Anyone know what database field populates the Created column in Project
Center. I can't figure this one out. I thought that PROJ_CREATION_DATE
in MSP_PROJECTS would fit the bill, but it does not.

I am asking because I am researching why when I create a project using
a template, the Created column does not display today's date (assuming
I created it today), but the created date of the template.

How about PROJ_CREATION_DATE_EX in the MSP_PROJECTS table? Hope this helps.

I looked there. The values in the PROJ_CREATION_DATE and
PROJ_CREATION_DATE_EX are the same. And they are different from the
date that appears in the Created column in Project Center.

I'm not sure what to tell you. The dates I see in the PROJ_CREATION_DATE_EX
field in my Project Server instance are the same as I see in the Project
Center. Perhaps someone else has an idea for you.

Are you looking at a project that was created from a project template?
The PROJ_CREATION_DATE_EX and the Created dates match if the project
was not created from a template.

(P.S. Apologies - my name is "Jay" and I thought this newsreader would
have substituted that name for my e-mail address. I have to figure that
one out soon. "flippinjay" is too... flippant?)
