Hello there!

I can use your help here!

Here is the scenario:

Exchange 2003 Server;
Clients using Outlook 2000; XP and 2003;
Custom Task form created in Public Folders

Problem:

More and more frequently now, when users want to open the form, they will
get an error message that reads:

"The custom form could not be opened. Outlook will use an Outlook form
instead.
The form required to view this message cannot be displayed. Contact
your administrator".

The quick fix is for me to open the form in design mode and republish it.
Then the problem gets solved for either hours or up to a couple of days.

I have not been able to find ANY information that would help me with this
problem. So please - please - please!! reply if you have any ideas on how to
fix this.

Update:

Walked around EVERY workstation and installed the latest hot fixes for the
OS and Outlook. On the users I knew had most issues, I went into Document
and Settings\userid\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft and renamed
(or deleted either way) the "FORMS" folder. Upon the user launching
Outlook, the FORMS folder would be recreated and forms started working
again.

As of right now, no complains and it better stay that way as I am fed up
with this issue! he-he!
