Micheal -

First of all, I think you over-reacted. It sounds like your Project
Manager tried to publish a schedule that contained a local resource
with the same name as an enterprise resource. In other words, the PM
probably didn't use the Build Team tool to get resources. That is a
very common reason for spooler errors.

Deleting the enterprise resource is not the way to solve the problem;
training the PM to use the tool properly is.

Examine the enterprise resource pool to make sure that the resource is
not present. I would use the "Clean Up Project Server Database" in
Project Web Access > Admin to make sure. You may have to search this
forum for a SQL stored procedure that will delete resources.

You will probably have to re-enter the resource with a slight variation
of his or her name, for example, using a middle initial.

The enterprise resource pool is the "home" of your enterprises'
resources - your project managers need to use it as their source for
obtaining project resources, not just type names into the resource
sheet.
