The Default Path for excel worksheets

Kevin

I Saved an spreadsheet and can see the path to where it supposedly is, only
thing is I can't get to it. When I go to save a new spreadsheet I can see
the one I want, I just can't find the olk151 folder. The path is Doc and
settings/name/Local Settings/temporary Internet files/OLK151. When I use
explorer I can't find that file. I have view hidden files and system file
checked and when i do a search it only shows me a 2 kb file. It is just a
shortcut. Please someone help me find the spreadsheet I need.

Thanks,

Kevin

It sounds like you're on a Windows system - this is the Mac Excel group -
but my guess is that the reason lies in the part of the path that reads
"temporary internet files". That isn't the file itself so Excel can't open
it. If you did actually save the file you most likely saved it in a
different location. Try using the Windows Search feature to locate the
actual workbook file.

If you need more help the PC Excel groups can be reached from:

http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/FlyoutOverview.mspx

But you'll need to be more specific about version information & the origin
of the file as well as any other details.
