The Document Name or Path is Not Valid

Windows 98 and Word 2000

I found info for Windows XP and Word 2002 but not these
versions.

When opening certain but not all documents from the My
Documents folder, we get the following message:

"The Document Name or Path Is Not Valid" and the document
will not open.

I tried to open it from within Word but get the same
message.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Try reregistering Word in Windows. From the Run dialog, type in

winword /r

and press OK. This will reregister Word again.
