I receive many PowerPoint files as e-mail (Mac mail) attachments. When I double-click to open them, I get this message: "The document xxxx.pps could not be opened. The file is not in the right format. The file might be corrupted, truncated or in a different format than you expect." Prior to upgrading to Leopard, I could easily open these files. Other than downloading these files to my desktop, launching PowerPoint, then opening the file, what can I do to automatically open them?

I figured out how to open these .pps attachments! After highlighting the attachment, do not double click. Hit the space bar instead. The Powerpoint file will open.
