I am using Office 2004 on a brand new iMac with tiger .4.2. I have an
awful time getting either entourage of Word to do simply commands such
as "Open,":"Save as", and Attach" SOMETHING is running in the back
ground to slow this down and I can't find it anywhere. I do not use
Projects, and have turned off Office notifications and all tool tips.
STILL, I waited 45 second for Entourage to let me add an attachment.
When I finally went to "Force Quit" it said it was "not responding"
And for some reason my "normal" template in Word keeps changing even
though i have saved to "my templates." i am so frustrated with this

I have been to the troubleshooting manual and nothing there about
slowness.
Also, does anyone have a clue as to how to import more sounds form the
Office sound set in Entourage notifications? i tried copying to my MUD
folder, but alas!
