THE END OF ACCESS TABLES

Gabriel

Hello Folks, has anybody seen the end of a table or
spreadsheet in Excel or ACCESS? It happens around 65K. I
have seen spreadsheets and tables with more than 65K in
them so I know this is not the end...right? PLEASE ADVISE

Hi Gabriel,

There is no fixed limit to the number of records in an Access table.
I've never had more than a couple of million but have heard of an Access
table with 20 million.

In Excel, however there is a limit of 65536 rows in a worksheet (or
16384 in earlier versions).
