The Enterprise Resource Pool failed to sychronize

Hello all,

PLEASE I'm going nuts here. I'm trying to synchronize
Project Server 2003's enterprise resource pool with an
Active Directory group.

From the web client running from the server console I go
to:

Admin->Server configuration->
Active Directory Group to Synchronize

I have a group name from Active directory containing only
alpha characters without spaces. I click on "Update Now"
and shortly receive a message stating:

"The Active Directory group failed to sychronize with the
Enterprise Resource Pool on <date> <time>.

In the Application log I receive:

Component: AD Connector
File: AutoADProcess
Line: -1
Description: <Description><![CDATA[AD Res Pool Sync -
failed to open the Ent. Res. Pool]]></Description>

Any assistance or insigt would be greatly appreciated.

Mark:

There are some known issues with AD synch, but your error looks different
than the one I've seen in the past. You might want to contact Microsoft
support.
